The Winslet/Mendes split has proven, once again, that the CURSE OF THE OSCARS, exists. At first, the Daily Mail blathers on about how they were “just too alike to survive.” Then it points fingers at “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” actress Rebecca Hall - “a thespian mix of brains and beauty,” apparently. But they finally hit home with the Curse.
It really is quite amazing. The list of Oscar-winning actresses whose marriages ended just months after their awards, stretches from Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, all the way back to Geena Davis and Jess Goldblum (they were married???). Want to know more? Click here.
But that’s old news. Question is, who’s next? Sandra Bullock and Jesse James, apparently! Bullock dropped out of “The Blind Side” premiere in the UK just as rumors surfaced that James had had an affair with Michelle “Bombshell” McGee.
Yeah, that’s her.
So is this all true? Who knows! But consider this:
(a) Jesse’s first wife was a porn star
(b) Sandra just won an Oscar
(c) THE CURSE!
