Ron Singer’s writings on Africa have appeared in Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, democracy now, The Georgia Review, The Wall Street Journal, and many other publications. He also writes poetry, prose fiction, and librettos. His two books to date are A Voice for My Grandmother, a fictional memoir (Ten Penny players/bardpress chapbooks, 2nd printing, 1977) and The Second Kingdom, an ebook of fiction (Cantarabooks, 2009). He is currently working on Uhuru Revisited (Africa World Press/Red Sea Press), a book of interviews with pro-democracy activists.
